Alison Bender splits her time between presenting and reporting and can be seen hosting major tournaments, interviewing players and managers and breaking live news at Premier league, FA Cup, Champions league and international matches.

UK-based football presenter and reporter will contribute to ESPN FC television, digital and online platforms Alison Bender has expanded her role at ESPN FC as its UK-based football presenter and reporter, contributing daily content, analysis and breaking news on Premier League, European and world football.

In the expanded role, Alison Bender will appear regularly on ESPN FC’s daily global football program, as well as contributing video reports and interviews for ESPNFC.com. Alison Bender will also serve in various hosting and reporting duties surrounding ESPN’s EURO 2016 coverage, including ESPN FC’s EURO After Dark, a digital-exclusive show. She will also contribute to ESPN’s coverage of the 2016 Olympics in Rio

Alison Bender has a passion for the game, regularly presents shows covering various European leagues and international matches and is currently in her fourth season as one of the main faces of Premier League Television (PLTV). Alison hosts a daily global football call-in show that has a large global audience, presents football review shows and news bulletins as well as weekend reporting at Premier League matches. Alison will be a reporter on ESPN’s new global football show ESPN FC that will be broadcast domestically in the USA on ESPN2 starting August 2013.

Alison Bender has also presented live news updates during major tournaments including the 2006 World Cup (Sky Sports News), 2008 European Championships (Al Jazeera) and Beijing Olympics (Al Jazeera).

Alison Bender has been reporting live from league matches since 2004 (La Liga and Premier League) and from FA Cup, League Cup and play-off finals since 2006 (ESPN, Sky Sports, Chelsea TV). Alison was ESPN’s Champions league reporter between 2007 and 2010 and spent six weeks in New York presenting ESPN’s World Cup show Press Pass during the 2010 World Cup. Alison will present 2013-14 Champions League coverage for Canada’s Sportsnet.

In 2014 Alison Bender presented Fanzone for PLTV every Wednesday afternoon. Alison also presented the Under 21 fixtures for the Premier League.

Alison Bender began her career in production, spending 6 years as a producer at CNBC Europe and running their news desk before re-locating to Spain to set up Real Madrid TV’s English language channel. Alison was in charge of a team of presenters and responsible for providing content to a new 24 hour channel.

At Real Madrid TV and Chelsea TV Alison Bender got to know the inner workings of a football club from the academy to the management. Her role included reporting at daily training sessions, traveling with the first team to matches and following the team on pre-season tours and charity trips.

Alison Bender is calm under pressure and has broken many exclusives in a range of sports. From ad-libbing to reading autocue, Alison has a natural ability in front of the camera and injects the same enthusiasm and passion whether presenting a World Cup Final or a grass roots match.
