Amy Irons is a Scottish television and radio presenter. She currently works as a news and sport presenter for BBC Scotland.

In 2019, Amy Irons began working as a sport reporter for BBC Scotland’s The Nine and has co-hosted the football-themed podcast Sacked in the Morning alongside Craig Levein since 2021. She has since hosted numerous other BBC programmes, including Reporting Scotland, Sportscene and BBC Scotland’s Hogmanay.

In April 2023, Amy Irons was announced as the host of the mid-morning show on the relaunched Heart Scotland. She left the station in June 2025 to return to the BBC full time.

In 2025, she became a launch presenter for the new Reporting Scotland programme News at Seven on the BBC Scotland channel.

Later that year, Amy Irons became host of The Saturday Show on BBC Radio Scotland. A new topical entertainment programme featuring weekly news, music and daily sport. Amy Irons presents with her former Capital Breakfast co-host Steven Mill, who also presents on Clyde 1.

Amy Irons hosted BBC Scotland’s Hogmanay show in 2024 and 2025.

Laura Miller

Laura Miller is a Scottish broadcast journalist and television presenter at BBC Scotland.

After graduating from Falmouth University, Laura Miller produced an award-winning documentary on the 2004 Asian tsunami reconstruction in Thailand and secured BJTC Young Journalist of the Year. She joined STV News in December 2007, originally as a reporter and producer. Laura Miller later presented the East Central Scotland edition of STV News at Six. She took maternity leave in May 2016, replaced by Lucy Whyte acting as STV News at Six presenter in the East region. She returned to the Edinburgh newsdesk on 15 May 2017.

In 2018, Laura Miller made a small credited appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, where she played a news reporter who was reporting on an alien attack on New York.

In 2018, Laura Miller left STV and joined BBC Scotland serving as the Consumer Affairs correspondent. In February 2019, she became a presenter on the BBC’s The Nine, presenting the Friday night edition alongside John Beattie before they both quit the show in 2024.

In April 2019, Jackie Bird stood down as a presenter on the BBC’s Reporting Scotland programme. In October, Laura Miller was announced as the replacement of Bird as a main presenter, after she was chosen over rival candidates; Catriona Shearer, Amy Irons and Laura Goodwin. She fronts the programme Monday to Wednesday.

Laura Miller joined the team of rotating hosts for BBC News Scotland podcast, Scotcast, from its second episode on 14 January 2025.

Anne Lundon

Anne Lundon is a Scottish broadcaster for BBC Alba and BBC Scotland.

Anne Lundon is a main presenter of the European current affairs programme Eòrpa, as well as BBC Scotland’s rural affairs programme Landward. She presents as a news anchor on An Là and the late edition of Reporting Scotland every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Anne Lundon is based at BBC Scotland’s headquarters known as Pacific Quay in Glasgow.In 2007, Anne Lundon represented the Western Isles in football as a defender at the 2007 Island Games in Rhodes, Greece.
