Isa Guha

Isa Guha MBE is an English former England cricketer and now a sports television commentator and radio broadcaster. She played in the 2005 South Africa World Cup and the 2009 Australia World Cup.

Isa Guha writes a column for the BBC Sport website and is a Test Match Special commentator. She joined ITV Sport in April 2012 as a co-presenter of ITV4’s coverage of the Indian Premier League.

In 2016, Isa Guha was a member of the inaugural Triple M radio Test cricket commentary team in Australia In 2018, she was a commentator for Sky Sports for the England/Pakistan Test matches, and was named as a commentator for Fox Cricket for their Australian cricket coverage. She was also a member of the commentary team at the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In 2020 she was the lead presenter of a new BBC TV Test and ODI cricket highlights show.

For the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Isa Guha presented a nightly highlights show for the BBC alongside JJ Chalmers. In 2023, Isa Guha joined the tennis presenting team for the BBC’s coverage of the Wimbledon Championships. She presented a nightly highlights show with Mark Chapman for the BBC during the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Tessa Chapman

Tessa Chapman has been Chief Correspondent for 5 News since 2011, reporting at home and abroad for the channel. She also regularly presents the flagship news show at 5pm.
Shortlisted for ‘Journalist of the Year’ by the Society of Editors in 2022 and 2023, Tessa’s work includes award-winning investigations into eating disorders and the taboo subject of child to parent abuse, and long-form reports into social issues including drug rehabilitation, gambling and children in care.

Tessa Chapman has been at the heart of the biggest stories in recent years, reporting from Kyiv as Russia invaded Ukraine, from Turkey in the aftermath of the earthquake and presenting live from the studio to break the news of the Queen’s death to viewers. She has travelled extensively during her career, covering conflicts in Gaza and Libya, refugee crises in the Middle East and Europe, shooting tragedies and the gun rights debate in the US and natural disasters and climate issues in Indonesia, Kenya and Iceland.

Before her current role, Tessa Chapman was North of England Correspondent for Sky News. Her first job in television was as a reporter for ITV Granada. She started her career in local commercial radio in Manchester, where she was sent to interview the Prime Minister Tony Blair on her first day.

Sabrina Lee

As a teenager Sabrina Lee was often curious about the weather, atmosphere and climate. How does it all work? Why does it rain? Why is the sky blue?

During her search for universities, Sabrina attended a Visit Day at the Department of Meteorology at Reading. Her experience of visiting the Department left her determined to secure a place to study an undergraduate degree at Reading, and start answering some of her burning questions.

The Department of Meteorology at Reading is the UK’s only dedicated university meteorology department, providing Sabrina with an ideal environment to explore the key themes of meteorology and climate.

Meteorology students can choose this module on weather forecasting, which involves practical classes and presentations to gain a full green screen experience.

Sabrina Lee joined BBC Wales in 2019 and is now presenting the weather to thousands of people each day.

Sabrina Lee credits the Department of Meteorology at Reading for its “support and guidance” in helping her to reach these goals.

Dr Shini Somara

Shini Somara is a British mechanical engineer, media broadcaster, producer and author. She has presented TechKnow on Al Jazeera America and reporting for various BBC shows including The Health Show. Shini Somara has also hosted two educational series of physics and engineering videos on the Crash Course YouTube channel for PBS Digital Studios. She has been a presenter on BBC America, Sky Atlantic, BBC1, BBC2, and PBS.

Shini Somara’s broadcasting career started in 2011 when she presented on the BBC’s The Health Show, covering developments in global health. Later that year, she began hosting No Kitchen Required which aired in 2012 on BBC America. The show involved three professional chefs immersing themselves in alternative culture with tribes and attempting to cook using unfamiliar tribal methods. The first season included trips to Dominica, New Zealand, Thailand and Fiji.

In 2013, Shini Somara started working on the Al Jazeera America talk show TechKnow – a 30-minute show about science and technology. It outlines innovations in technology and science and how they are changing lives of people in America. The shows are recorded with a group of contributors with backgrounds in science and technology.

Between 2014 and late 2016, Shini Somara worked on several BBC productions, including Tomorrow’s Food, Battle of Jutland and Secrets of Orkney with Neil Oliver and Chris Packham, and for Sky Atlantic.

In early 2016, Shini Somara started working with PBS Digital Studios on Crash Course Physics (an online educational resource explaining complicated theories in a simple way with intuitive visuals). She extended her involvement with Crash Course in 2018 with a new series, Crash Course Engineering.

In 2020, Shini Somara was a reporter on the scientific program Razor on CGTN. In January 2021, she was a regular commentator on Science Channel’s Engineering Catastrophes.

Lynsey Hipgrave

Lynsey Hipgrave is an English television, radio presenter and journalist, currently working for British broadcaster TNT Sports.

Lynsey Hipgrave’s initial break came on Manchester radio station Galaxy 102 where she presented the breakfast show, before being appointed a travel reporter on Radio 5 Live.

Until July 2016 she co-presented the Saturday morning show on Radio 5 Live from 9 am to 11 am with Danny Baker and she has also hosted with Eamonn Holmes and Christian O’Connell.

In 2010, Lynsey Hipgrave became a presenter on Al Jazeera on their English-language sports channel (Al Jazeera Sports +3) for their Champions League shows alongside Gary Lineker. She was the main anchor on Al Jazeera’s coverage of the World Athletics Championships alongside Colin Jackson and Denise Lewis, the US Open Tennis Final, WTA Championships and the Asian Games.

Lynsey Hipgrave is a former presenter on Setanta Sports News and Roulette Nation on Challenge Jackpot.

In 2009, Lynsey Hipgrave contributed to BBC Three’s World Cup’s Most Shocking Moments.

In 2012, Lynsey Hipgrave was a contributor to Euro’s Most Shocking Moments, a follow-up programme to the earlier programme on the World Cup, this time featuring clips from football’s European Championships.

In 2013, Lynsey Hipgrave presented some of the African Cup of Nations games for ITV4 and hosted some of ITV4’s coverage of the Europa League, including Newcastle United’s quarter final tie with Benfica at St. James’ Park.

In August 2013, Lynsey Hipgrave began presenting on BT Sport where she has hosted Women’s Tennis and Football, including presenting coverage of the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.

During the summer of 2014, Lynsey Hipgrave worked for ESPN to help present the 2014 World Cup.

Between August 2016 and May 2017, Lynsey co-presented Channel 5’s coverage of the Football League, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy, with George Riley.

Jules Breach

Jules Breach is a British sports broadcaster for TNT Sports, Fox Sports, Viaplay, and Channel 4.

In her earlier media and broadcasting career Jules Breach held presenting roles at Brighton’s Juice FM, Latest TV and Sky Poker. Jules Breach has presented live television in the UK on BT Sport, and Channel 4 as well as CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League coverage. Her live broadcasts have included the Premier League and live England national football team matches in the UEFA Nations League, and live rolling coverage covering all the Saturday 3pm professional football matches across Britain on the flagship BT Sport show BT Sport Score. She has also broadcast on ESPN, Putland TV and Radio, and UEFA. In 2015, Jules Breach hosted the Rugby World Cup for BT Sport Score.

In her career, Jules Breach was the Master of Ceremony of The Champions Club in the Emirates and Old Trafford Stadiums for both Arsenal and Manchester United.

Jules Breach had worked for the women’s cricket coverage for TNT Sports. In January 2022, Jules Breach led the presentation team for the Women’s Ashes series.

From 2022, Jules Breach also presents the Saturday evening highlights package show of the English Football League on ITV, and has presented for the Premier League Productions English language team, and Australia’s Optus Sport.

Jules Breach has also fronted coverage of the Women’s Ashes live cricket on BT Sport in 2022. Breach has hosted The Football Ramble alongside Pete Donaldson, Andy Brassell, and Kate Mason, amongst others. Breach was also a guest on A Question of Sport, and presented the Premier League’s Fantasy Football Show alongside James Richardson.

In 2023, Jules Breach was the lead presenter for England matches on Channel 4.

She became a lead host for UEFA Euro 2024 and UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 on Fox Sports broadcasting for American TV viewers.

Jules Breach returned to Fox to anchor the network’s 2026 FIFA World Cup coverage.

Laura Kuenssberg

Laura Kuenssberg is a Scottish journalist and television presenter. She was the political editor of BBC News from 2015 to 2022, and was the first woman to hold the position. She has since presented the BBC’s weekend political discussion programme Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.

Laura Kuenssberg previously served as the BBC’s chief political correspondent and was the first business editor of ITV News. She was also the chief correspondent for Newsnight
between February 2014 and July 2015.

Laura Kuenssberg won the regional Royal Television Society “Most Promising Newcomer” award in 2001 while working as home affairs correspondent for BBC North East and Cumbria.

In 2009, she was appointed chief political correspondent for the BBC. Laura Kuenssberg reported for BBC One bulletins, Daily Politics and the BBC News channel. In May 2010, her presence on BBC Television was so ubiquitous in the period between the 2010 United Kingdom general election and the formation of the Cameron–Clegg coalition that journalist David Aaronovitch coined the term “Kuenssbergovision”.

Laura Kuenssberg took up the newly created role of business editor for ITV News. She also contributed towards business reporting on ITV’s current affairs strand, Tonight.

On 12 November 2013, it was announced that she would leave ITV to return to the BBC as chief correspondent and a presenter of Newsnight, replacing Gavin Esler in the latter role. She joined the Newsnight team in February 2014.

Between the 2017 United Kingdom general election and Brexit in 2020, Laura Kuenssberg also co-presented the BBC’s Brexitcast podcast alongside Katya Adler, Adam Fleming and Chris Mason, which was then retitled as the Newscast podcast.

In September 2023, Laura Kuenssberg presented Laura Kuenssberg: State of Chaos; a three-part political documentary series, which was broadcast on BBC2.

Laura Kuenssberg was the host of the BBC’s election-night coverage for the 2024 United Kingdom general election alongside Clive Myrie.

Susie Dent

Susan Dent is an English lexicographer, etymologist, and media personality. She has appeared in “Dictionary Corner” on the Channel 4 game show Countdown
since 1992. She also appears on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, a post-watershed comedy version of the show.

Susan Dentis well known as the resident lexicographer and adjudicator for the letters rounds on Channel 4’s longest-running game show Countdown. She began working on Countdown
in 1992 at the insistence of her boss at Oxford University Press (OUP). She had recently switched roles to work on compiling English dictionaries, having previously worked
on bilingual dictionaries. At first she declined the Countdown offer, but her boss explained that her appearance on the show formed part of her OUP employment contract
and she agreed to take the role. On each episode, she provides a brief commentary on the origin of a particular word or phrase. Dent is the longest-serving member of the
show’s current on-screen team, first appearing in 1992; she has since made more than 5,000 appearances. Dent also works on the spin-off show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does
Countdown.

Susan Dentappeared as herself in an episode of the BBC sitcom Not Going Out.

She presented Channel 4 web series Susie Dent’s Guide to Swearing, which explored the etymology and history of select English swear words. She has also made an
appearance on BBC entertainment show Would I Lie to You?. In 2018, she also appeared on five episodes of the panel show Richard Osman’s House of Games.

In 2019, Susan Dentlaunched the podcast Something Rhymes With Purple, co-hosted with her friend Gyles Brandreth; they followed this up with live theatre stage residencies
using the same formula as their podcast.

In 2023, Susan Dentembarked on a solo tour, The Secret Lives of Words.

She co-wrote a romantic radio drama with Peter Souter, Only One Word for Love, that was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 ahead of Valentine’s Day in 2025.
