From an early age Sam Hughes has been surrounded by music, with her father’s talents as a musician and her mother’s as a ballerina, you could say that music was in her blood, and you would not be wrong. Sam Hughes loves music that evokes emotion and appreciates a piece that can bring you to tears, so it will come as no surprise that Romeo & Juliet is her favourite ballet performance. That’s not all there is to Sam, you can also hear her rocking out on the Planet Rock breakfast show every Saturday and Sunday. Sam is now hanging up her red shoes to join Scala having been a proud member of the Virgin Atlantic cabin crew for a number of years, and for that, Sam – we salute you.

LEEDS TV presenter Emma Louise Jones sent fans wild after the loss to Liverpool by inviting fans to “check her heart.” Emma Louise Jones’ popularity with the Whites fanbase has continued to soar since making her debut on the channel in 2017.

Emma Louise Jones is tasked with conducting post and pre-match interviews for LUTV – while also working for BBC Radio 5 Live and the Netball Nation podcast. And like many Leeds fans, she was left on the edge of her seat during the dramatic 4-3 defeat against the Premier League champions.

On their return to the big time after 16 years, Leeds pegged Liverpool back three times before Mo Salah bagged the winning goal. Just after the full-time whistle, she teased her 208,000 followers with the message: “Anyone available to check my heart?”

Leeds favourite Jermain Beckford was wise to the question and joked in response: “How many inappropriate messages are you expecting to get on the back of that tweet?!”

Emma Louise Jones never used to be a football fan but is now tasked with following Leeds’ first season back in the Premier League. Speaking to Ourtown magazine, Emma said: “I never used to be a football fan – but since doing Leeds I’ve become one!

“The atmosphere, passion and buzz rubbed off on me very quickly and now I’m the noisiest spectator watching from the gallery.

“Whilst in Hull, I managed to get a job on Leeds United TV, presenting their matchday shows.

Victoria Nwayawu Nwosu-Hope is a British TV and radio presenter, journalist and published author. She hosted the Capital Breakfast show on Capital FM radio station. She also presents Crufts on Channel 4, Carnage on Sky One, Trending Live on 4Music, Life Hacks on BBC Radio 1, FYI Daily on ITV2 and became the backstage presenter for ITV’s The X Factor in 2019, after becoming the digital reporter for The Voice UK in 2018.

Vicky Hope is best known for her work presenting the Capital Breakfast show in London along with Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay since 2017. Before this she hosted weekend breakfast on sister station, Capital Xtra. On 24 February 2020, she announced that she would be leaving the show to focus on other ventures. On 20 March 2020, Sian Welby replaced Hope as co-host of Capital Breakfast.

In 2019, Hope joined Classic FM presenting Classic FM’s Revision Hour alongside Ellie Goulding, Lewis Capaldi & Dan Smith. In August 2020, Hope replaced Cel Spellman to co-host Life Hacks and “Official Chart: First Look” alongside Katie Thistleton on BBC Radio 1.

Mollie is best known as one-fifth of leading girl group, The Saturdays. The multi-platinum selling band have sold over 5 million records worldwide, scored 13 Top 10 singles and 5 Top 10 albums. The band also embarked on 4 nationwide headline tours and starred in 3 primetime TV series, including ‘Chasing The Saturdays’ for E! which aired in over 40 countries including America.

In 2018, Mollie King made the successful transition from popstar to presenter. As a new face of Radio 1, she presents 3 weekly breakfast shows for the BBC station alongside her sidekick Matt Edmondson. Born in Streatham, London to Indian parents, Naga Munchetty was a pupil of Graveney School. She studied English literature and language at Leeds University. Naga Munchetty’s television career began as a reporter for Reuters Financial Television, after which she worked as a senior producer for CNBC Europe, a business producer and reporter for Channel 4 News and a presenter on Bloomberg Television.

Naga Munchetty joined Working Lunch after the show was revamped in October 2008 and stayed with the programme until it finished in July 2010. Naga Munchetty has hosted Radio 4’s Money Box. She also reports from the City for BBC News, gauging the reaction to breaking financial stories such as the Budget, and the Pre-Budget Report.

Since August 2010, Naga Munchetty has presented early morning bulletins (UKT) on the BBC News Channel and BBC World News. She is a regular presenter on BBC One’s Breakfast. Naga Munchetty co-hosted The Spending Review – The South Today Debate on BBC One with Sally Taylor in September 2010.

Naga Munchetty also presented Paranormal Investigation: Live on Living on 30 – 31 October 2010 to celebrate Hallowe’en.

Lucrezia Millarini joined ITN in December 2010, originally as the Arts & Entertainment Correspondent for ITV News London and presenter of FYI Daily on ITV2. Lucrezia Millarini then begun news reading in January 2013: reading the ITV News London opts during Daybreak, the late bulletins after ITV News at Ten and also filled in on the main programme at 6pm. Lucrezia Millarini also regularly news casted the early morning and lunchtime weekend bulletins for the national ITV News.

In June 2014 Lucrezia Millarini went freelance and now appears as a regular presenter and reporter for ITV News, ITV News London and occasionally for 5 News. Lucrezia Millarini is now a presenter of ITV News London’s main 6pm programme on ITV London. In addition, an occasional newscaster of the ITV Lunchtime News and ITV Weekend News on ITV.
