Bela Shah is a presenter at Sky Sports News. She has been at Sky since the end of 2018 – her first shift was on New Year’s Eve! Before journalism, Bela Shah was a lawyer at ITV Sport.

Bela Shah always dreamed of working in media. After drastically changing her career path by enrolling at the London College of Communication to read Broadcast Journalism in 2011, she started a journey which lead her to the successful career in TV presenting she enjoys today.

Now, with experience at BBC Radio 2, BBC Sport, talkSPORT, Heart Four Counties, BBC Asian Network and Sunrise TV, Bela Shah is quickly climbing the broadcasting ladder and gaining a lot of recognition.

With a perfect voice for on-air presenting and a strong, informative presence, Bela’s skill has enabled her to present a variety of shows; from breakfast bulletins on BBC Radio 1 to news reporting on Channel 5, she has succeeded at every new challenge put in front of her.

In addition to this, Bela Shah also has experience on BBC World Service’s Sport Today, news and sport programmes on BBC Asian Network, rolling news programmes on LBC, Facebook Live broadcasts for BBC News Channel and has even co-presented talkSPORT.

Alex Scott began her media career while still playing football, appearing on programmes such as Soccer AM,[26] with other minor roles at BBC Sport, BT Sport, and Sky Sports. She wrote a weekly women’s football column in the Morning Star newspaper, and a column in The Independent during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

In 2016, Alex Scott appeared in Bear Grylls’ ITV show, Mission Survive, which she won.

Following her retirement in 2017, Alex Scott turned her focus full-time to television broadcasting, co-presenting on Match of the Day Kickabout. She covered the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup for the BBC. In August 2019, Alex Scott was announced as the new co-host of Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday, alongside Chris Kamara. Since 2020, Alex Scott has been a regular co-host on the annual BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony. Alex Scott is also a relief guest presenter on The One Show.

In September 2019, Alex Scott was a contestant on the 17th series of Strictly Come Dancing, paired with professional dancer Neil Jones. She was the first woman footballer to take part in the show. The couple were eliminated in week 11, coming fifth.
