Bee Tucker grew up in Sussex, before attending university in Nottingham to study geography, where her interest in weather began. Bee Tucker worked for the BBC Weather Centre in London where she discovered her passion for broadcasting and went on to broadcast news bulletins in local radio. Her dream job was to be a TV weather forecaster, but wanting to understand more about the science behind it, qualified as a meteorologist a few years later, completing her training at RAF Brize Norton.
Outside work Bee Tucker describes herself as a typical girl who loves shopping and socialising with her friends. She loves keeping fit, which she adds is probably a good thing as she has a very sweet tooth, loving anything chocolate related.
Having spent many family holidays as a child in Devon and Cornwall, Bee Tucker jumped at the chance to present the weather for Spotlight, and has been a member of the weather team since 2014.
